Our first guest is journalist Carlos Soto, known for documenting both local and international music trends in national newspaper La Nación. Soto has cut his teeth in indie music for years, contributing to international sites like Remezcla as well as numerous zines and the publication of far-reaching Costa Rican scene chronicle Ola. Our conversation with Carlos Soto touches on everything from the state of print media to some of our favorite (and not so) trends currently developing in music and pop culture.
