Dr. Rob Williams joins Jon for a chat about his story of yak farming, entrepreneurship, music, and story coaching. Rob has been telling stories for decades, and now offers his services as a “story coach” for businesses looking to find their identity, and how to deliver that story to customers. Further, Rob has been a part of the Vermont Independent, a long time print, now online newspaper since 2005. While teaching journalism at the University of Vermont and Champlain College, he also helps his clients find their authentic story and how to enact said story in their daily operation. But Rob’s story doesn’t end there. He has also raised a herd of yaks and now sells infamous gourmet yak burgers. In his spare time plays folk funk across the world.
