Martha Lopez is the SSOE Training & Enablement Manager at Amazon Web Services. She began her career in education  at just 13 years old, teaching students in areas in need in Miami. She has four years experience as a Spanish Teacher, and over seventeen years in corporate L&D, including roles at Emory University, BioIQ, and Brown Bag Marketing. This week, Martha sits down with Jon to talk about the path from traditional education to corporate education, how to leverage an educational background to move onto instructional design, and earning respect as a training leader.
