The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly Psalms 1: 1 Blessed is the manWho walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,    Nor stands in the path of sinners,    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,    And in His law he meditates day and night.3 He shall be like a tree    Planted by the rivers of water,    That brings forth its fruit in its season,    Whose leaf also shall not wither;And whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so,But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Construire sur le roc Ainsi, quiconque entend de moi ces paroles et les met en pratique sera semblable à un homme prudent qui a bâti sa maison sur le roc. Un anneau défaillant rend la chaîne inutilisable, et un défaut dans votre caractère vous empêchera d’entrer dans le royaume du ciel. Vous devez mettre toutes choses en ordre. L'ESPRIT QUI FAIT FUIR L'ENNEMI Quand l’ennemi viendra comme un fleuve, l’Esprit de l’Eternel le mettra en fuite. Il accorde le Saint-Esprit pour nous aider dans chaque impasse, fortifier notre espérance et notre assurance, illuminer notre esprit et purifier notre cœur. Quand vous soumettez votre volonté à la sienne, le Sauveur s’empare de vous et il produit le vouloir et le faire selon son bon plaisir. Votre nature est placée sous le contrôle de son Esprit. Si malgré vos désirs vous ne parvenez pas à dominer vos impulsions et vos sentiments, vous pouvez dominer votre volonté et ainsi s’opérera en vous un changement total de vie. Notre Seigneur est riche en grâce et infiniment puissant; Il déversera ses présents avec largesse sur tous ceux qui s’approchent de lui par la foi. ... Nous devrions prier aussi ardemment pour l’effusion du Saint-Esprit que les apôtres le firent au jour de la Pentecôte. Si, déjà à leur époque, ils ressentaient la nécessité du Saint-Esprit, combien plus en avons-nous besoin de nos jours! Semblables à un drap mortuaire, les ténèbres morales recouvrent la terre. Toutes sortes de fausses doctrines, d’hérésies, et de déceptions sataniques trompent les hommes.
