John 10: 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. Isaiah 40: 10 Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him. 11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.    Revelation 7: 17  the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

The Parable of the Persistent Widow LUKE 18: 1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” 6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

2 CORINTHIANS 1: 9 we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,  10 who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,  11 you also, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.
